Breaking Out the Softail
The weather has been really nice the last couple of days and when I arrived home from work today, I went to start up my 2002 Harley Softail to take it for a spin. Only problem was the battery was completely dead. Absolutely nothing!
I’ve had the battery on a battery tender throughout the winter months but it looks like I have pushed the life of this battery to the limit. While I had really been hoping to get out for a little ride this evening, I am not too disappointed as the weather is supposed to get worse over the next few days. That might be my window of opportunity to get out and buy a new battery.
It shouldn’t be more than another few weeks and it will officially be riding season again. I need to start planning now for a nice destination for the first weekend trip of the year. Any suggestions?
