Favorited at Technorati
Tonight I was spending some time reviewing the sites that I read regularly and writing a couple of posts for this site when I thought I would check how my Technorati Rank was doing.
It was just a couple of days ago when this site first became active and my Technorati rank was a little bit over 2,800,000 (yes, million). With my first goal defined to get under 100,000 I obviously have some work to do, although I am happy to report that today my rank has already jumped to 606,000!
First Favorite
As I was browsing my stats at Technorati, I realized that I had been *Favorited* by another member of Technorati. Looking to see who it was that favorited the site, I discovered it was Leo Chiang. Thanks for adding my site to your favorites Leo!
As a token of my appreciation, I thought I would share a few posts of interest from Leo’s site to help spread the link love around. But before I do that, I have to give a shout to Stephen Fung as that is where I first came across Leo’s site. Right now I am in a race with Leo to be the Top Comment Whore at Stephen’s site for the month of March.
Leo Chiang DOT COM
Just a few short months ago, Leo joined the ranks of the narcissistic bloggers by starting a blog with his own name as the domain and I have now joined that group as well. In that time, Leo has started to put out some great posts on a variety of topics that include food, women and other lucid thoughts.
As a fan of Howard Stern and Sirius radio, I often hear Howard talking about how much he likes the show Battlestar Galactica. I have to admit that I’ve never watched the show and therefore am not a fan myself but it is interesting to note that Leo is an actor on Battlestar Galactica. I’ve had a professional actor comment on my blog…sweet! If you’re interested in reading more about Leo’s acting adventures, check out his posts in the On the Set category.
For the guys (and quite possibly the ladies as well), you’ll want to check out the Babes category to see some photo shoots from Leo’s clothing line called Exit Gear (maybe I’ll have to get myself a shirt or something). Just to give you a sample of what these photo shoots are like, check out the photo shoot with Darla. Smokin!
As I wrap up the links to Leo’s site, I have to direct you to some of the recent posts discussing the cuisine in the Vancouver area. Try not to read these posts if you are hungry though because Leo provides pictures of the meals. One of my favorites is the mention of some good BBQ at Memphis Blues. That post was followed up with one about the famous *Hulk* burger. Damn that looks good! As I’ve commented to Leo and Stephen, when I get out to Vancouver I need to meet up with them to sample some of this food!

Theres alot of talk of technorati, but I don’t get it to be honest. It doesn’t matter how much my personal blog moves up or down the rankings, still get no clicks from it - Saying that i’m along way of the 600,000 mark.
