Free Stuff - The Price Is Right

Free stuff is cool. That was the motivation that generated my idea to become a t-shirt whore and is usually enough to get me entering contests around the blogosphere.

Back in February, I won a Lego flash drive courtesy of John Chow’s MyBlogLog contest. Not only that, but John threw in a bonus gift of a pen from 1234pens.com, score!

Over the weekend, lady luck smiled down on me again when I was selected as the winner of the Evil John Chow contest that was sponsored by Nick @ The Details. Don’t forget to check out the funny cat picture contest that Nick is running right now.

Now it is time to push the envelope and see just how lucky one blogger can be. Not only have I entered John Chow’s contest to win a Microsoft Zune, but I have also entered a contest to win a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate over at the GiveawayProject.com Free Money Giveaway. It’s easy to enter and once you check out the rules, you will notice that I just picked up two additional entries.

The only problem with free stuff is you can quickly become addicted to entering contests trying to win free stuff, not that there is anything wrong with that. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend you check out the contests mentioned above and submit your entry. On second thought, maybe you shouldn’t as that might increase my chances of winning!

Hey Derek thanks for linking to GiveawayProject. Although the link is kind of messed up, can you check it out? Thanks!

You now have THREE entries into the Amazon.com Gift Card Giveaway! That isn’t evil at all! :)

Hey Derek, I think you mean ‘decrease’ your chance of winning?

Armen, you’re right that I worded that last sentence goofy. Basically what I meant to say was that if you do not enter the contests, my chances to win will be better than if you do enter.

Thanks for pointing that out!

I have the worst luck with contest/giveaways which has deterred me from even bothering to enter most… probably not the smartest idea lol

I did enter the cat contest, just cause I love cats hah

Every dog has their day so keep entering those contests and eventually the law of averages will work out to your favor. :)

Kinda works that way in the club with me, proposition every hot girl and I usually end up with one eventually. Although my definition of hot changes as the night progresses and the number of drink consumed increases.
