World Vision Charity Update

In my last update about Stephen Fung’s Technorati Favorite for charity goal, I had agreed to donate $100 whether Stephen met his goal or not.

WorldVision.org

The charity that we agreed upon was World Vision. For those that may not be familiar with World Vision:

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

Take a few moments to explore the World Vision website and discover the things that they hope to accomplish for the children of this world. If you find yourself in a position to do so, I would like to encourage you to make a donation of your own of any amount.

Before I wrap this up, I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone for jumping in and adding Stephen’s site and this site to your Technorati favorites. When it was all said and done, I added 31 new Technorati favorites and Stephen added 62 new favorites. Thank you all for stepping up!

Thanks for the add, I just added you back. I’m new to World Vision but I’ve added it to my list of consideration for a regular donation.
