Photos: Weekend In Review

First and foremost, I’d like to take a moment to wish all of the fathers out there a Happy Father’s Day and hope that you have the chance to share some special time with your loved ones today.

As I mentioned yesterday we went to see Blue Man Group and that turned out to be as much a Father’s Day gift as it was a Mother’s Day gift since we had a great day with our kids. It was a lot of fun and I had the chance to show them one of the places I worked in the city was also giving my wife and kids their first experience on the *L*.

With family about to convene on my house in a few minutes to celebrate Father’s Day, I thought I would provide a few pictures as a “Weekend In Review” of what we did this weekend as a family. Hope you enjoy!

That first picture of the autograph was stylized with Photoshop because my camera does terrible with closeup shots and it was all blurry. So I applied the Solarize style and I thought it resulted in a cool look with more clarity on the autograph.

Looks like you guys had a great time!
The Blue Man Group always seemed a little too weird for my tastes, but I’ve only seen them on TV. I’m sure it’s a lot better in person. More importantly, the kids liked it.

We did have a great time and the kids enjoyed everything from the train rides to the huge slice of pizza for lunch to the actual show itself.

I enjoyed seeing them have a good time even more than I enjoyed the show.
