Louis, that is very cool to have an article make it to the newspaper like that and send a really unexpected source of traffic. Thanks for sharing!

Sometimes i'm very surprised who picks up a blog post of mine and runs with it. I had one particular post read by one person, they emailed it to a friend half way around the world and it made it into a newspaper complete with a link to my site. It generated some nice traffic. Ever since that, I put a email this post plugin on that blog to encourage people to email stories.

@Costa Rica :: Thanks, btw I am always trying to convince my wife that we should retire to Costa Rica so I found your site interesting!

@Jake :: Thanks, I was surprised to see that the post made it there as well but enjoyed the influx of traffic.

@Mechanics :: Thanks, I've been seeing a few new faces around the blog since that post so I think it worked out well.

That's a great improvement on your blog. I've also experienced that good phenomenon. Some or many of those visitors could be your potential regular readers if they got the right or interesting information from your blog. It's only happens if you got the attentions of everyone. You did a great post! Congrats

So I should start including the ticker symbol when I mention companies in my "money" related posts?

Maybe I should go back and add ticker symbols to some of those older posts....nah, I'm too lazy.
