I had one particular post read by one person, they emailed it to a friend half way around the world and it made it into a newspaper complete with a link to my site. It generated some nice traffic. Ever since that, I put a email this post plugin on that blog to encourage people to email stories. Sometimes i’m very surprised who picks up a blog post of mine and runs with it.
