Last week was a little crazy with various ailments being passed around at our house and a busy work schedule. As a result I was only able to get three posts out for the week, which I believe is an all-time low since I started this blog seven months ago.

While I wasn’t able to get as many posts out as normal, I was still surfing through my RSS reader to keep tabs on what all of you were saying on your blogs. Here are a few of my favorites from last week:

1. Melanie had a great post about 6 common weight loss mistakes. I’ve been guilty of a few of these myself from time to time. For anyone that is working on a healthier lifestyle, be sure to keep tabs on Melanie’s site as she is very helpful!

2. Michael Kwan has launched a new blog, Hadouken Online, that is all about fighting games. I’ve always enjoyed playing video games but by no means am I a serious gamer. If you’re into gaming, I highly recommend that you check out what Michael has to say about fighting games.

3. Damien Riley shared some exciting news as he had the California Superintendent of Education visit his classroom. Not only that but Damien made the news as well. The kids in Damien’s class are lucky to have such a great teacher and I am honored to include Damien as one of my blogging friends, congratulations buddy!

4. Chris Garrett kicked off an outstanding series of posts on making real money online. The first chapter touches on addressing the question of what type of earner you are and what you can do to improve your situation. Chris has put together a great series of posts that are well worth the read.

5. ShoeMoney shared some of his thoughts about WidgetBucks. When I saw the blast of posts about WidgetBucks it reminded me of why I opted against BlogRush, but it sounds like there may be more reason to steer clear of WidgetBucks.

Thanks for sharing my elation about the superintendent visit! I respect your work immensely. Keep up the good work integrating quality content and language usage into state of the art blogging. Rarely do I find a dedicated combo of the two as yours out in the sphere!

Your blog is very nice derek. We all understand there are at times busy days in life when you can’t give much time to your work.
