This really speak out my thought. I have just started about a week plus and my blog is not even in any niche. Just my daily rambling and thought and I already felt that blogging is really not that easy.

To think you have been doing so for so long…. Great job, keep going.

Keeping the posts flowing on a daily basis is a tough one especially when blogging isn’t your primary job. You’re so right that blogging isn’t easy and I’ve figured that one our firsthand. Nice post.

@Jason / @Nick :: I haven’t done any of the work required to actually begin planning such a collaboration. With all of the knowledge and skill, I am sure it would be possible to assemble a killer team of people that collectively could reach new heights. I’ll continue to think about this but feel free to jump in with your own ideas.

@Danielle :: Lol, I know exactly what you mean. I’ve been trying to finish up another project on the side and it has been difficult to find time for anything else.

@Rose :: There are all types of people in the blogosphere but I think that is part of what makes it so interesting.

I have had a similar (but quite different) idea pass through my brain…maybe I should give it some more thought and get something rolling…unless Derek gets something up and running first (which I would be more than happy to jump on board with).

I too agree with this post. I have found that some bloggers can be greedy too. I have also learned that ones readership will come and go.

I’d love to supply some articles to other blogs and maybe gain a little readership in return, but it’s not easy to dedicate the time towards other sites when I’m struggling to find time for my own.

I’d be interested in a once-a-week thing, though … do you have any more details on your network plan?

i’ve realized that completely dedicating yourself to more than one personal project is pretty difficult. i have three, plus full-time work and freelance projects. ok play time is over, gotta get back to work now…

@Dave :: Thanks! You better keep on posting because I always look forward to your insight on various topics.

@Chris :: Thanks for the comment. It is difficult to consistently find the time to keep things fresh but I will do my best to keep it going for quite some time. I just need to eliminate that pesky full-time job.

@Jason :: I’m not planning on going anywhere. Although there have been times when I have thought about a blog network where a group of people could collaborate on one or more blogs. Some people could focus on writing, others on behind the scenes work, others on advertising deals, etc. Who is interested?

@Annie :: That is a great point. I’ve actually thought about that with regard to my Dad Balance site as there is really only so much you can write about work life balance. Eventually I will likely need to expand the focus to keep the content flowing. Thanks for the great comment!
