Fred Claus was better than I expected. I knew I liked Vince Vaughn, but with bad scripts I knew he could not always save a movie, and I had my doubts til seeing this on TBS recently.

@MPB :: It is worth seeing as a matinee when the prices are a little cheaper, although I guess I feel that way about any movie as I am not one to pay full price for a movie very often. Our Thanksgiving was fantastic, thanks for asking!

@FS :: Thanks! That is a great point about how American television and movies have brought (or pushed) aspects of our culture to other countries.

@Setanta :: If you visit any of the busy airports on the day before Thanksgiving, I am not sure you would say it brings people together. Airports are a zoo with very stressed out people, lol.

@Josh :: It is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that way but particularly with blogging, we really need to think more on a global scale and not just close to home.

I thought Fred Claus was a hilarious movie. But everyone is entitled to differences of opinion. I hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving holidays as i surely enjoyed myn.

Lovely story – I wish we had Thanksgiving here in the UK. It seems to really bring a nation together.
