Speedlinking - 10 Dec 2007

The Speedlinking series is something that I do on a weekly basis in order to try and give a little something back to the readers of this blog in terms of link love as well as sharing posts/sites from across the Interweb that I found particularly interesting.

Since I started this series back in the middle of May, I don’t believe that I have missed a single Monday where I did not share a little link love with all of you.

However, last week was a bit crazy as I returned from my trip to Las Vegas and have been trying to catch up ever since. One look at my Google Reader with over 550 unread posts would tell you that I have fallen behind in my reading and I haven’t had a chance to pull together five posts from the previous week.

I don’t want to leave all of you empty-handed so I thought I would mention a really cool thing that I was asked to be involved with a few weeks back.

Stephane Grenier, from Follow Steph, had contacted me and asked if I would be interested in being interviewed for a book that he was writing that asks some of the most prominent bloggers about what it takes to blog successfully.

The list of bloggers that Steph has secured for this book is quite impressive, including names such as John Chow, Seth Godin, Aaron Wall, Ben Yoskovitz, and Yaro Starak. To think that I was even considered for inclusion in this project is quite an honor and I am eagerly looking forward to the release of the book.

I’ll be sure to share more details as I receive them but thought I would plant the seed for you to stop by Steph’s site and read a little bit more about the book.

Thanks again for the opportunity Steph!

Hello,

I am the webmaster of the site http://freelancefish.blogspot.com. I am currently attempting to start a viral link project, and was hoping that you would be interested in joining it. There are currently 5 of us participating in this project (all of us have blogs related to making money online), but we want a base of around 10-15 when we launch the project.

Please let me know at Equals.Eight@Gmail.com if you are interested

Regards,

Adam.

Why should you not be included in that well chosen list. You are eminently qualified.

I am happy for you and congratulate you. I look forward to the book’s launch, which I am sure that you will announce here.

Yes, I’m very interested to hear about what’s going on with google as it seems your site has gone to PR0 at the moment–I assume you’d like to know what happened as well.

I’m definitely going to have to read that series since I’m very pleased to see someone approaching professional blogging from the perspective of starting a blog for business purposes from the get-go instead of the usual deal where people try to monetize a personal blog they’ve already got up–I’m interested in how the two perspectives compare.
