The new year has brought many things, including my first real experience with hitting the blogging wall as well as the announcement of a rather unique cash contest.

In addition to all of that, I have been fortunate in that all of you have continued to share your valuable comments with everyone and have developed an active voice on this blog.

For the month of January, the following readers have been the most outspoken.

1. Alan Johnson from TheRatingBlog.com set the pace for the month with 31 comments. Alan has been running an outstanding series on his blog that has focused on exposing popular myths, including this look at website monetization myths.

2. Home Recording Studio secured a 2nd place tie with 13 comments. If you’re an audiophile, be sure to stop by and check out the variety of information, including the growing audio directory.

3. Nicole Price from Great Prices Here also finished the month with 13 comments. Nicole continues to keep an eye out for great prices and recently featured shoes at an 80% discount.

4. Leo Chiang secured the fourth spot with 12 comments. Leo recently made a new enhancement to his Mustang with the installation of a CDC Shaker hood system and has included some before, during, and after photos.

5. Furniture Stores rounded out the top five commentators in a tie with 12 comments. One of these days I need to set aside some money and buy myself a new leather executive chair as my current office chair is beginning to show the wear of countless hours spent blogging.
