With a work schedule that has been consuming more of my time lately and a PC that began to make very peculiar sounds tonight, I thought it would be a good chance to have a Speedlinking Edition that gets back to the basics.

1. Michael Kwan kicks things off with a great list of five strategies to overcome burnout. Following the strategies provided by Michael will go a long way towards helping you lead a happy, well-balanced lifestyle where burnout is not an issue.

2. Chris Garrett over at chrisg.com has been blogging for over 10 years and shares his 41 blog success tips that you can learn - and implement - today. This is a great list to read through and pick one or two tips to work on right now to give your blog a boost - one that I really like to do is link generously.

3. While he might not have been blogging for over 10 years, Matt from Blog About Your Blog has provided his own list of 23 things learned from blogging. Quite a few of these things are spot on with what I have learned, although I don’t agree with everything.

4. Shoemoney gave a great “back to basics” type post when he shared his tips on how to use the robots.txt in WordPress to prevent duplicate content. This is a great reference to use when editing your robots.txt to tweak your site and ensure you are getting the results you expect.

5. Cost-per-click, cost-per-action, conversion rate. It can get rather confusing to make sense of everything, but MsDanielle has shared some of her expertise in explaining the basic formulas and what they mean. Give it a read and maximize the dollars that you spend on advertising.

There are quite a few valuable lessons in this journey back to the basics - hopefully you all have a chance to enjoy these posts and find one or two new things to help you get to the next level.
