Speedlinking - Blogger Appreciation Day
When I started my Speedlinking series, I wanted to use it as a means of highlighting fellow bloggers and/or posts that I feel are worth reading. In addition, I have used the series to share a little link love with the most vocal readers each month as well as those that refer the most traffic.
Earlier today, I had the pleasure of receiving a little link love courtesy of Chris Garrett (who I am looking forward to meeting at SOBCon) as he participated in Blogger Appreciation Day by thanking the people that have added the most comments to his blog.
In the event that you haven’t heard about Blogger Appreciation Day, it was an idea started by Darren Rowse as a way to spend a little time performing a few random acts of kindness and providing encouragement to our fellow bloggers.
Not wanting to steal the same idea that Chris used to thank the most vocal readers, I thought that I would give a quick shout of thanks to the most recent readers - as witnessed by the MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog widgets located in the footer.

Thanks, Derek. And I’ve just noticed that the acronym for “Blogger Appreciation Day” is BAD. I don’t think that was intentional, but I like to make random observations.
