I finally got around to setting weekly goals in terms of my blogs and it has made a huge difference - I'm writing more, commenting more and in general just participating more, which is paying off as I measure links and revenue. I used to spend too much money, but when I started writing down my daily expenses and revenues, my savings improved DRASTICALLY, possibly over 400%. It works!
