the nikon d40 advertises to be nikon’s smallest digital slr. that is the main reason why i find it so attractive. my coworker bought it after i told him that was the camera i was wanting! :p

my kids make me hesitant to want to invest in a quality camera just for the fact that I am sure it will be expensive to fix/replace as things just “accidentally” break when they touch things.

The problem I find with a nice camera like that is that there is the fear of breakage or loss as well as the fact that it's not as easy to haul around as a smaller point-and-shoot model. Nicks last blog post..Randy Pausch Has Passed Away

I wondered where you were going with the first image (border was uninspiring to my mind) but the black border does make a huge difference.

I never thought about that… images really do look better with frames. I will surely have to utilize that tip. I’ll probably just use the simple border, as that looks good enough.
