Photoshop: WTF? John Chow And Kwanye Scandal
Lately I’ve been having a little fun with Photoshop and figured that it was about time that I submit an entry into Michael Kwan’s contest to win a big box of cool stuff.
Initially I was hesitant to enter the contest as there are quite a few high quality entries already submitted; but with the deadline looming I figured it was time to have a little fun.
Unfortunately for Michael “Kwanye” Kwan, his buddy Stephen Fung shared some fodder for Photoshop awhile back and just because Kwanye is hosting the contest doesn’t mean he is free from abuse.
While there are great entries in this contest, I believe that I’m the first to use an animated image and to take this contest to a dark, dirty place.
What do you think of my entry?

Oooh, and you made use of your css frame….but I didn’t know that until I clicked through to comment…
I certainly see what you meant by burning bridges and he seems like a pretty good sport so you shouldn’t have too much worry there, but I think you forgot how the winner of the contest is chosen…he is going to pick the one that he likes the best and for some reason, I have a feeling it is not going to be this one :S

Lol, yeah I know but I couldn’t resist the chance to use that picture of him.
BTW, I was just looking into the ability to have my CSS image frame display in my RSS feed but I don’t have anything yet.
That’s awesome! Now we need one with Kwanye running himself over with a Segway (video is coming soon!)

The animation was created with a combination of Photoshop and ImageReady. First, I created all of the desired layers within Photoshop and then I used IR to create the animation itself.
I am still laughing.

Lol, reminds me somehow of one of the early scenes in the first Police Academy movie !
LOL - that’s some pretty handy work you’ve done there. Hopefully it gets you the win and he has a sense of humor.
Talk about being taken down by an internet rumor. That’s vicious.
Quite clever…but yet quite disgusting as well.

Just yesterday I read a little bit about a John Chow scandal, but I didn’t fully understand it, so I just did a Google search. So apparently he’s being punished for questionable link building techniques, hmm? It seems Google is punishing him by having articles about why he is being penalized come up first for his name. I wonder if that’s natural or just something fun they are doing.
And good Photoshop! It made me laugh, even though I didn’t fully understand it.
Great GIF. Congratulations!
