All Aboard The My Name In My Domain Train

by derek on March 29, 2007 · 11 comments

Earlier tonight I received an email from Danielle informing me that she had added me to her edition of the My Name Is My Domain list.
In case you are not aware, this idea originated with Gary Lee’s creation of the My Name Is My Domain link train.
To be fair to others that have had the My Name Is My Domain train pass through their blog station, I’ve added a few additional links to the “My Originals” section below that were not included in Danielle’s list. The additional links are courtesy of Stephen Fung, Leo Chiang and John Chow.
The Rules
To be included on this list – the real name of the author must be included in the domain name. It looks like you can get by with either your first name or your last name (although the narcissistic among us prefer the full name) in the domain because as Gary Lee mentions, it’s the Name in My Domain list, not the Full Name in My Domain list. Also, subdomains of your current sites do not count so no cheating!
***Start Copying Here***
1) Write a short introduction paragraph about what how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.
2) COPY the ENTIRE List below and add it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of the blog. Just don’t change the links of the blog.
3) Take “My Adds” and move them into the “My Originals” list.
4) Add 3 Brand New Narcissistic Bloggers that you know of.
My Adds:
David Grimmett
Sean Dinner
Andrew Kuo
My Originals:
Gary Lee
Ed Lau
John Chow
Nate Whitehill
Stephen Fung
Michael Kwan
Jeff Kee
Stuart Hannig
Hannes Johnson
Nomar
Jimi Morrison
Nathan Drach
Saman Sadeghi
Brice Wong
Leo Chiang
Tyler Ingram
Clio Chiang
Rod Templeton
Shawn Knight
Bob Buskirk
Jon Waraas
David Lithman
MsDanielle
Kelly Cho
Derrich

If you haven’t participated in the My Name Is My Domain link train yet, jump in and share the link love with a few more narcissistic bloggers. It is getting harder and harder to find blogs with their name in the domain so it might get interesting to see what you can come up with for future entries. Enjoy!

Lol, I actually had a similar thought when I was putting the list together. I put our links together to add power to the Derekichs rule. πŸ™‚

That’s a great idea. I’m adding one more to the mix on Friday.

We were on Danielle’s list together =)
Took me a while to find 3 narcissists.

It does get harder to find new narcissistic blogs as this list grows but I think that also opens the door to discovering some new blogs.

Indeed it is hard to find other narcissistic bloggers that are not on the list already. Lucky me that I got in there early, lol.

This isn’t fair!
I swear my real name is Meridian Crest!

Lol. Scot, it’s easy enough to get a new blog started so get busy on that Scot Smith dot com already!
That’s actually how this blog started after I got tired of only having my personal finance blog and not participating in the narcissistic fun.
