Favorite For Charity

In an effort to satisfy part of the Dot Com Mogul Checklist for the month of March, Stephen Fung put a spin on his charitable donation where he decided to donate $1 for each person that adds his site to their Technorati favorites.
As an added bonus, adding Stephen to your Technorati Favorites also enters you into a contest for a Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000. Unfortunately, Stephen only received an additional 24 Technorati Favorites so the charitable contribution currently stands at $24.
Due to the fact that Stephen did not reach his goal of meeting $100 for the charitable donation, he has extended the charity drive until April 10th.
How I Am Going To Help
Since I want to see Stephen reach his goal, I urge you to Favourite* Stephen (* – spelling in honor of those crazy Canadiens) to help him reach his goal of $100 and get the chance to win that free mouse.
Now, I am going to extend the offer to Stephen to match him dollar for dollar up to the $100 limit. If you’d like to Favorite Me as well, that would be much appreciated but will not be required for me to match Stephen.
Why am I going to match Stephen’s contribution? Stephen is one of the Chowites (trademark pending, lol) that I have found to be very helpful to new bloggers, including myself, and it is always nice to return the favor to those that help others.
Since I first started following Stephen’s blog when he nearly burned down his kitchen, I have enjoyed my time at his site and have found many other great blogs through his community. Stephen, this is my little way to say thanks and let you know that I enjoy what you do.
Another Contest
Since we are talking about contests, I thought I would just make mention again of my offer to win a free copy of TaxCut Premium + Efile over at my other blog. Unfortunately that contest has done even worse than Stephen’s contest as I haven’t received a single entry yet – thanks to Tyler Ingram for at least throwing a comment out there.
