Do You Want To Be Flipping Rich?

Sure you do, I mean who wouldn’t want to be Flipping Rich? Someone that I know that has accomplished that (or at least has the website to prove it) is Derrik Dyka and Sunny Yee. Derrik is a realtor in Minneapolis and Sunny is in the investment industry and together they run FlippingRich.com.
As part of my goal to become a t-shirt whore, I asked Derrik if he had an extra Flipping Rich t-shirt that he could send my way.
Shortly after making the request, Derrik sent me an email to let me know that he would send this Derek one of his shirts. Unfortunately, the shirt he sent me was a *little* snug so I’ll spare you the visual tragedy of the picture I took wearing the shirt. As a favor to the retinas around the world, I snapped an extra picture of me just holding the t-shirt.

Flipping Rich
So what exactly is FlippingRich.com all about? Well, as you might imagine given that Derrik is a realtor, the site has a heavy emphasis on providing information on the real estate industry and investing. While much of the information focuses on the Minneapolis area, there is still valuable information to be found regardless of your locale.
Like many other people, I’ve become hooked on the “Flip This, That and the Other” home shows on television. The fact that I have that interest in learning about flipping properties, as well as caring for the one you have, and what it takes to be successful is one of the reasons that I enjoy Derrik’s blog.
Featured Properties
While I don’t see a move to the Twin Cities in my future, I still like to check out the featured properties. Right now there isn’t anything on the list that would meet our needs, but I enjoy searching properties in different parts of the country.
Last year we came very close to moving out to the Smoky Mountains, visiting the area numerous times to look at homes. In the end we decided not to move but we still like to look because you never know what might come up. But if we were to ever consider the Twin Cities, I think the first people I would be contacting would be Derrik and Sunny.
Hookup of the Week
As an example of why I would feel comfortable contacting Derrik and Sunny if I were looking to relocate, you only have to look to their Hookup of the Week feature.
The purpose behind this feature is for Derrik to share some of his contacts and resources with his readers. In my opinion, it is a win-win situation as the readers benefit with a personal reference and the other party benefits with the additional publicity and vote of confidence. As someone that is in the process of accepting bids for window replacement, I can assure you that the “inside information” can be very valuable.
Even though I am not local to Derrik’s area, I still enjoy reading these hookups and it demonstrates to me that Derrik and Sunny are the type of people that go out of their way to help others succeed. You don’t find people like that too often and when you do, you tend to remember those people.
Thanks to FlippingRich.com
As I wrap this up, I’d just like to extend a thank you to Derrik for providing that inside knowledge to his readers and for taking the time to pass along the free t-shirt. If you’re not already familair with the site, I encourage you to check out FlippingRich.com and tell him Derek sent you. 🙂

I am still working on getting rich. I think of it more like flipping (as in another f-word), and rich (as in “that was rich”).
Couple meanings there…

Yep, I’m still working on getting rich myself and have used quite a few f-words in the process. 😆
