Google Script Error Wreaking Havoc

Google Adsense Script Error

This error was just brought to my attention but it appears that people using Internet Explorer are experiencing a Google script error on any page that is loading a Google AdSense ad block.
After testing numerous pages that all use Google AdSense, I have confirmed that they all are experiencing this error when viewing the site with Internet Explorer 6 but have not yet tested with IE7.
There do not seem to be any issues when viewing the site with FireFox but I have not thoroughly tested with other browsers. When viewing the error message, I am directed to the Google AdSense block on each of the pages.
Will Google have a resolution to this problem? I can only imagine some of the larger AdSense publishers losing revenue right now due to this nuisance. As a workaround, you can supress the script errors in your IE settings but I doubt many of your average users will know how to do that or want to do that. If you cancel each of the error messages, the page will load properly and display the AdSense ads, so this doesn’t appear to be a serious issue.
What do you think of this script error from Google? Is this a serious snafu to sites running AdSense or a minor nuisance to the visitors of sites displaying ads?

LOL! I was scrolling down the page, and immediately saw your error message image. My first reaction was “(*&$#(%&”, but noticed it was part of your post.

Lol, sorry about that! This was very annoying when viewing a site with IE but it has since been resolved. It was rather surprising to see though when this was brought to my attention.

Lol, I am the same way John. I actually didn’t know about the IE error until my Dad had pointed it out to me when he browsed my site from his office.
I rarely use IE anymore except for at work which is the only browser that is supported for our internal apps.

IE has always given me so many problems, I prefer Firefox.

Ah, IE.
Microsoft’s _reaction_ to Netscape, and thus compromised from the beginning.
