For this round of Speedlinking, I am going to share some link love with the people that helped me reach one of my blogging goals for the month of May.
The goal being highlighted here was related to networking and becoming more active on the social networking sites, as I stated that I wanted to find 10 new blogs to Favorite at Technorati, 10 new communities to join and 10 new contacts at MyBlogLog and 10 new friends at StumbleUpon.
While some of the sites featured here in this edition extended the *olive branch* first, some of them were sites that I initiated contact with in an effort to extend the community. To continue fostering the growth of community, I encourage you to visit the respective profiles/sites of these people and hopefully discover a few new friends in the process.

I saw your post about meeting the people behind BlogCatalog and realized I need to get signed up for that one. I haven’t even looked at it yet – shame on me!
Looks like I am an “official” Derek Semmler stalker now…I think I hit every list. As always, thanks for the link love.
I also read Derrich’s post on his meeting with the BlogCatalog folks…sounds like they might have a leg up on MBL…can’t wait to see what they have to roll out in the next couple of months.
