Speedlinking – 20 Aug 2007

This week’s edition of my Speedlinking series is going to pay a little bit of respect to those blogs that have referred the most traffic to Derek Semmler dot com since the beginning back in March.
According to my Google Analytics account, the following blogs have directed the most amount of visitors to this site:
1. Leo Chiang :: 458 visitors that have viewed an average of 2.21 pages per visit and spent an average time of 5:32 on the site. Leo’s been too busy working to post much lately but he did share an update on the Run for the Cure and also noted the other Derek’s ( 😉 ) support of the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk.
2. MsDanielle :: 113 visitors that have viewed an average of 2.68 pages per visit and spent an average time of 7:48 on the site. After Danielle finished digesting her heart attack in a bag, she took some time to share a great way to track all of your keyword rankings with the use of one tool.
3. John Chow :: 105 visitors that have viewed an average of 2.08 pages per visit and spent an average time of 5:20 on the site. John had an interesting week as he decided to sell the 300×250 ad spot that was being used by Google AdSense and explained how bloggers should ask whether or not they are getting the maximum dollar for their ad space.
4. Court Tuttle :: 97 visitors that have viewed an average of 3.15 pages per visit and spent an average time of 8:10 on the site. Last week Court asked the question, can your site be sold? At one time I registered a few domains with the idea to develop the site to a point that it could be sold. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to take the time to do that and the following domains are sitting idle for the most part: ProfitableAdSense.com, HowToCrackAdSense.com and BeadInsanity.com.
5. Wendy Piersall :: 87 visitors that have viewed an average of 1.62 pages per visit and spent an average time of 5:52 on the site. Wendy had a great article last week that appealed to many current and wannabe entrepreneurs as she talked about the top 10 Interweb home business ideas that you can start and run in your underwear. The best part was that Wendy included some great links to resources for further research on each idea.
It is nice to see the list of blogs that send traffic to my site and I appreciate each and every one of those visits. Please take a moment to stop by each of these sites and see what they have to offer.
As I wrap up this edition of Speedlinking, I’d like to ask for a little bit of reader feedback. Do you enjoy the Speedlinking series? Is a weekly Speedlinking post too frequent or do you look forward to the weekly finds and link love?

Lol, I cut the list at the top five since that is my normal number for the Speedlinking series. Looking at it now, I probably should give an honorable mention to a few others. Maybe I’ll throw that in there next week.

Yeah, I set Leo up with a few free t-shirts as a thank you for sending traffic my way. He’s been the type referring blog for awhile.

That’s great Derek. This is a great way for me to find interesting content. I’m off to MsDanielle’s blog.
