Thank You Comcast And The NFL

Thanks to the pissing match between the NFL and the large cable companies, including Comcast, this is what I was able to enjoy of the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers.

No NFL Network

In an effort to sway the vote to the side of the NFL in this debate, NFL.com was showing the game live. As I made my way through the Interweb to check out the live game action, I was able to see the crushing hit that Keith Davis put on Tramon Williams during the final kickoff return.

As a note to Comcast and the NFL, thanks for thinking of the fans! 🙄

I too was surprised to not see the game on any channels on my TV last night!
I started watching it on NFL.com, but it seemed like they were only showing the game when the Packers were on offense? There was a ton of commentary, and I had to turn it off.

I ended up watching a rather choppy stream of the game through sopcast. Definitely not what I’d prefer but better than nothing, I guess.

@Dave :: I was waiting for a last minute deal with the cable companies and the NFL to allow the game to be shown for all cable subscribers. The little I saw on NFL.com made me somewhat happy I missed it as all I heard were the announcers kissing the ass of the Cowboys and Romo.
@Krista :: I hadn’t even really looked for other sites that were streaming the game. Last year I had the NFL Network as part of my normal cable package but now I don’t. It is the little things like this that make me think about going back to the dish.

Though I am a crazy fan of Cricket I often watch Rugby. I enjoy watching Rugby more like an action movie than as a original game.
