Chances are pretty good that you have heard of John Chow but do you remember that last October he announced the creation of the TTZ Media affiliate program?
In the event that you are not familiar with the program, affiliates have the ability to display specific product widgets or send users to the main TTZ Media product catalog. When a visitor clicks on one of the ads, you earn $0.15 per click. The nice thing is that the more clicks you generate, the more you get paid.
Once you surpass 1,000 clicks, your CPC increases to $0.18 with a maximum potential of $0.25 CPC.
As an added bonus, there is the potential for a truly passive income as you can refer additional affiliates and earn 10% on all earnings from your referrals for the first 12 months of the program.
When does this get spicy?
After not leveraging my TTZ Media affiliate account for the first few months, I was talking to Gary Lee and he mentioned a template he was using for a TTZ Media affiliate site. After reviewing the template that Gary was using, I created the following…
Spicy Tech Deals is a new site that I have created to leverage the TTZ Media affiliate program – displaying product widgets for a variety of topics.
It is your one-stop-shop for your technology needs!
The approach that I took with this site is to break it down into five primary product categories, with each of those further broken down by brand or product type. On each product page, you will find the hottest deals in the main content area along with a sidebar of related accessories.
Please let me know what you think of Spicy Tech Deals.
If you’re interested in the program and want to earn your own affiliate income, simply click here to sign up as an affiliate today!

The new site looks good, perhaps you can use it to replace your broken camera.
Can’t wait to hear how your site does . . . good luck with everything!
New site looks pretty nice. Derek I would like if you could just explain in a little detail how this affiliate program would work?
Anytime people click on just about anything on the site, Derek gets 15 cents, up to a maximum of 25 cents from TTZ Media.
You’ve got some good deals in stored on your new site. Wish you good luck for the new site.
Good stuff! Definitely looking forward to seeing how it goes
@Leo :: Thanks for the feedback and for clarifying how the program works for MPB.
@Gary :: Thanks, I’ll let you know how it goes.
@MPB :: Thanks. As Leo mentioned, the affiliate program basically pays each affiliate each time a visitor clicks on one of the ads. For the first 1,000 clicks you make $0.15 per click. It increases incrementally up to a max of $0.25 per click. In addition, if you sign up additional affiliates with your referral id, you will earn 10% of whatever they earn. It is similar to the way AdSense works – someone clicks the ad and you get paid.
@Dave :: Thanks, maybe we can do a Carbon Fiber Gear and Spicy Tech Deal case study. 🙂
Wow that’s a great idea! If you get a decent amount of traffic to that site, it could really pay off!
Looks good Derek. It’s amazing how well these types of sites perform, particularly during the buying holidays. Most importantly, it’s low maintenance which makes it nearly free money.
Low maintenance is always great, especially if you have a lot of projects on your hands and need to carefully manage every minute of your time 🙂
Thats a nice looking site, good luck with your new venture.
Since I blog about things related to money, this is ideal. Will sign up soon.
Looks pretty interesting. I too will sign up soon.
